Frame & Feet
Our frames are hand-built in North Wales, using kiln dried Birch hardwood rails, a mix of OSB and Ply panels and hardboard to house the base of our spring unit. We believe in their quality, so much so, we offer a lifetime guarantee. *see our frame guarantee here.
We use Spinks pocket springs in the base of our sofa, which are made in Yorkshire and provide ultimate comfort and support.
Our modular pieces, sit on hidden round wooden feet, and easily clip together with hidden underside clips. If your sofa is being used on wooden flooring, we suggest to use felt pads on the underside of the feet, to help protect your floor. When moving your sofa, always lift the modular pieces rather than drag them.
Cushions Fillings
We believe what's on the inside is important. That's why all of our sofas are foam free. Our Soulmate and Soulmate Tailored sofa uses Ultraflex instead made from 25% recycled single use plastic in Yorkshire. It's naturally fire retardant, gives off ultra low VOC content and is Hypoallergenic. Ultraflex is supportive and durable, having 12% less hardness loss after 80,000 impacts, compared with other industry standard foams. They also use Fibreline recycled fibre in the back and seat cushions, which is made from single use plastic bottles.
Our Soulmate Luxe uses responsibly sourced RDS feather and down in the seat cushions and feather in the back cushions for cloud-like, relaxed comfort. As a natural filling, they are biodegradable at their end of life.
Cushion Care
When you receive your new Keep sofa, you may find that the cushions feel firmer than expected. This is normal and they will settle during use. All cushions need to be plumped regularly to keep their comfort and appearance. We offer replacement sets of cushion interiors for all of our collections, allowing you to extend the life of your sofa, so you can love it for longer.
Fabric Composition
Our fabrics are all stain resistant and incredibly durable, each achieving an abrasion resistance of over 60,000 cycles. Accidents happen, so treat the stain as soon as possible, using water and a clean, dry cloth.
Our Textured Weaves, Soft Plains and Velvets are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, which means they have been tested for substances that can be harmful to human health. They also have Safe Front® which helps protects against viruses and bacteria as standard and are ISO certified.
Fabric Care
Do not machine wash your cushion covers, as it can risk shrinkage or colour variation between the cushion covers and frame covers. To avoid your fabrics from fading, keep them out of direct sunlight and avoid direct heat sources such as radiators. Vacuum your sofa regularly with a specialised upholstery attachment, or brush with a soft brush, to avoid dust building up which could accelerate wear and dull colours.
